StickMan #1 — And, uh, Hey, what’s up Kelvin?
Kelvin – What’s up my brother, glad you’re here.
StickMan #1 – Thank you for hosting me. We’re here today, we’re looking forward to walking through and showing everybody what the leaf live lounge is all about. Um, let’s, can we go on and check it out?
Kelvin – Oh come on bro.
StickMan #1 — All right, let’s check it out.
Kelvin — We’re going to leaf life
StickMan #1 — I appreciate
Kelvin – Welcome brother, welcome.
StickMan #1 – Mehnn. They told me it was nice.
Kelvin – Uhm, you know, it’s a little six, it’s a little six.
StickMan #1 — It’s kind of a sexy, right?
Kelvin – It’s sexy
StickMan #1 – It’s kind of sexy. What’s up going on… what’s happening in the wall right here?
Kelvin — That’s our I’m Miro man. We like to try to give you that Cuban essence…
StickMan #1 – Uhn uhn
Kelvin — Cuban essence, the one and only Cuban that y’all know.
StickMan #1 — Angie, I met her.
Kelvin — I try to bring that into the lounge.
StickMan #1 — You got a lot of seating for the people here.
Kelvin – We’ve got seating, man, we got walkway, you’re going to enjoy yourself, party hard most of the time.
StickMan #1 — All right. You got the televisions on the wall. You get a lot of sporting events, people come in, hang out and watch TV.
Kelvin — Every sporting man, one thing that we pride of ourselves on, I’m born and raised in Atlanta.
StickMan #1 — Okay.
Kelvin – So you know the Falcons games, the house games, the brain games, we’ve always try to show them. So, ah, we also got premium music.
StickMan #1 — I hear. Somebody sipping on [inaudible 01:34], it might be me. I don’t know.
Kelvin — I don’t know who, who, who said.
StickMan #1 — But somebody sipping on [inaudible 01:39]. Hello Angie.
Angie — Hey
Kelvin – There she go.
StickMan #1 – There she go, that’s Angie, one of the owners here. That’s one fellow taken out in the lounge. What’s up Fellas?
Fellas – Hey, what’s up man.
StickMan #1 — Man, Leaf Life Lounge man, it’s nice and cold. It’s almost like a man caves, it’s kinda come hang out a place away from home, right home, away from home. Right?
Kelvin — That’s exactly what it is, we want you to get away from all your precious positive vibes, only just come in and kick it with, man.
StickMan #1 — Okay. Everyone out there and stick man lamb. This is the Stickman blog coming to you from Ellenwood, Georgia at the Leaf Life Lounge. I am here today with the owners and we’re going to have a nice little puff sip chat session. You know how we do it on the Stickman. So, uh, to my right here, alright, I have gentlemen, uh, who goes by the name of Kelvin, uh, DJ K. I don’t know how you want to say it.
Kelvin — I am man.
StickMan #1 — I even said it. We have Angie, alright, and we have Johnny and we have Calvin, all right. Uh, together they make up a fantastic team. I had the pleasure and honor of coming here back in January, I think when you and I first hooked up and then I was able to come out to the grand opening event, you guys killed it by the way. Kales on the microphone. Everybody was mingling, everybody was running around trying to, you know, greet their guests and hanging out. I, you know, I just kinda tried to stay out of the way and have a good time. I got my, my puff-sip-chat on as well. Um, so anyway, I came back today to do an official session with these guys and here we are. Alright. So I’m just gonna jump right into it if that’s okay.
Kelvin — Okay.
StickMan #1 — The leaf life, what’s the leaf life all about? Who wants to jump in there? Tell me what, let’s just start by telling everybody what the leaf life is all about.
Johnny — Okay, well before we go there, I do want to give, I already mentioned we do have another partner.
StickMan #1 — Oh please do, please do.
Johnny — Barry who could make it here with us today, but I would definitely…
StickMan #1 – Barry, where are you at?
Johnny — …all the teams they went, Oh don’t want to leave any soldiers out. And when you say where’s the leaf life come from? It came from having fun, kind of what we do on a regular basis. At that point in time, was kind of dealing with different companies and we all did kinda the same thing. We smoked, we drink, we laugh, we have a good time. I think then we see, what say what a… smoke sip savor, things what we say back then. What we started noticing is that in Atlanta we noticed it was real clique-ish, you know you would have, okay, I’m a part of this cigar group, I’m a part of this cigar group, and it was like trying to find something that could be more inclusive. So not put a neighborhood on it, not put a city on it, not put a name on, is find something we’re all about, which is the leaf life. So that’s where it came from, something that anybody, no matter what group you’re part of, you all are part of the leaf life.
StickMan #1 – And the Leaf Life came before the Lounge, right?
Johnny — Yes.
StickMan #1 – That’s well before the lounge.
Johnny – Yes
StickMan #1 — How long did leaf life, how long ago was this all, they all come together.
Angie – Three…
Johnny, Angie, Kelvin, Calvin — Three, four years. Three, four years.
StickMan #1 – Three, four years. You guys are experienced, this is not an overnight success.
Johnny — No, no, not at all, nowhere near. So we started from there and the thought kinda came and we were doing other apparel and other merchandise. It was kind of hit and miss, we just kinda throwing things on the board and we came with the design for leaf life, like people gravitate towards like, Oh man, it’s clean, I like it, I could wear it and no one’s going to be offended when I go to my lounge. It doesn’t say that I’m not a part of this, it was something everybody could get behind. So it started with just doing tee shirts. And uh, from there it was like, okay, let’s try hand on with this. By then, you know, we had got in good, with chaos, which if you in the city and you try and do event, especially in this industry, you kinda gotta go through him most of his past his hand at some point in time…
StickMan #1 — Okay
Johnny — Whether he take them or not, they pass through it. So, it just kinda made sense, you know, as it was going through this new structure, me and Angie left from the relationship we were in before that business like, Hey, we’re just going to do this strictly just leaf life. Cause leaf life was just a product in the catalog. It wasn’t like the company, it’s like, now we think this has a little bit more behind it, a little more meaning, let’s go out, and then from there, CJ was killing it on the road, you know, it was more like the road warrior, this city, that city, really pushed the stick talk. He, you know, uh, transfer it, like taking on more of the stick talk. It was like, you know, we can all kind of do this together. And we just being like, uh, the serial smokers…
StickMan #1 – Now stick talk, tell us, explain that too. I mean, you mentioned that, you dropped that in there real quick.
Johnny — Well that’s, that’s the point, you gotta sprinkle it, you gotta feel the …
StickMan #1 — Yeah. Don’t just [inaudible] over there now, let’s talk about the stick talk
Johnny — Stick talk, I mean, that was it. It wasn’t just a blog, it wasn’t just Facebook, it’s the conversation. So, If you go into…
StickMan #1 — It’s a chat?
Johnny – It’s a chat
StickMan #1 – You know, like the puff-sip-chat.
Johnny – If you go to an event, you was gonna see stick talk, within the crowd.
StickMan #1 — Okay.
Johhny — Like people gravitate towards it, the age demographic was slightly different from some of the other cigar groups, cause you could touch onto some of the younger crowd, but not the immature crowd. So as far we were hitting a lot of 48, 52s, the 60s, you know when she goes to a stick talk, he grabbed some room mature 28 32 35. So it’s like, if we can find a way to merge these worlds together, we can kind of service a larger part of demographic and service them in the right way. And that’s just kind of what we set out to doing everything, from nails, hustling with sweat and now we’re here, cause, cause…
StickMan #1 — One thing I tell people all the time, the cigar lifestyle, it’s a lifestyle. So, I love the thing leaf life, cause it really describes what it’s about, uhm, coming together. I’ve met so many fantastic people, including yourselves, uh, through a cigar and a little bit of whiskey, of course, which doesn’t hurt anybody.
Johnny – Never hurt anybody.
StickMan #1 – So, okay, you got the leaf life and now we’ve got the leaf life lounge, and we have a team that runs it. How did you guys come together as a team, and who came up and say let’s do a cigar bar ourselves.
Kelvin – (Clears throat)
StickMan #1 — Oh, okay.
Kelvin — Let me give you a little brief story of how we came.
StickMan #1 — Here we go, let me get my torch to lit and…
Angie – This one is a little bit interesting
StickMan #1 – To make sure you right. All right. Okay.
Kelvin — We were visiting a local lounge that all of us really enjoy it. Okay. And it was this little lady that used to sit at this back table and she’s looking…
Angie – (Laughing)
StickMan #1 – Oh, she is laughing already, look at she…
Kelvin – I won’t reveal any names
StickMan #1 – Okay, no names, it’s okay, alright.
Kelvin — But, uh, I would come in his lounge and I was brand new to cigars and I started, you know, learning the people, learning the culture. And it was as always little lady in the back. And every time I walk in she would look at me, me, and I’m like, what is wrong with this lady? I couldn’t, I could not understand what was going on. Right? So, one day I made…
StickMan #1 – Maybe she is just having a bad day.
Kelvin – No, it was like a bad day for like six months.
StickMan #1 – Oh, okay.
Angie – (laughing)
Johnny – Yeah, that is accurate.
Kelvin — Yeah, for like six months. So, um, one day I decided, I don’t care how she looks at me, I’m going to go up to her, I’m going to grab her, and I’m gonna kiss on the cheek, with the most weirdest, disgusting kiss that you can ever do. So I walked up to this woman…
Angie – Yeah that was my…
Kelvin — …grabbed her, full bear hug, and it was all over the place, right? I let her go, she looked at me…
StickMan #1 – That could’ve went really bad, you know.
Kelvin – It could have, you know, it’s a risk, you got to take risk. So, she looked at me with such a frown and could not do anything but bus that leg. That’s how our relationship started. Okay.
StickMan #1 – Oh wow
Kelvin – Now, this guy…
Angie – I hated him, I did.
StickMan #1 – Did you really?
Angie – I did.
Kelvin — We don’t have to talk about the hate part…
Angie, Kelvin, StickMan #1 – (Laughing)
Kelvin — …but this guy, it was a total opposite.
Angie — Not for me, but I’ll let you tell him.
StickMan #1 —Did you hate him too.
Angie — Yeah.
Kelvin – Oh.
Angie – From the first day I met him, I couldn’t stand him.
StickMan #1 — Oh wow.
Johnny — Should we go into that store? Should we just drop a bunch of like.
StickMan #1 – Exclusive, sit back and let y’all go.
Johnny — Hope y’all ready for this. So I used to go into the lounge. I don’t really know a lot of people, cause I was still new to like the cigar lounge culture. I had gotten into smoking, but it was more like the house, or vacation, you know, my brother in the military, he got me into it. So I’m in his lounge. I do a lot of branding and website design. So the headphones on, laptop not bothered by this. I walked in and I just happened to see something that I had to take my headphones off.
StickMan #1 — Okay
Johnny — Angie had a cigar the size of my leg, right.
StickMan #1 – (laughing)
Johnny — And it was in her mouth and she was, you know, no hands, right. Yes, as a matter of fact, I went in and put it on Google. So, if you search long enough, it’s still on Google, that image, right.
StickMan #1 — I shall go search.
Johnny — So people didn’t believe it, they’re like, you’re not going to smoke that. And Angie being Angie and the fiery Cuban, she was, she said, I’m not going to smoke it. So she locks it in place.
StickMan #1 — Okay.
Johnny — Puts her hands behind her back. No, that’s just the seasoning. She didn’t do that part.
All – (laughing)
Johnny – So, she made it up and started smoking it.
StickMan #1 – Okay
Johnny — And me not even knowing, I get my phone out cause I said I do a little video and stuff. I started like slow motioning the inhale from a cheeks in her mouth on the cigar and then I started…
Angie – Without telling me.
Johnny – And then, I started cropping the video out and sharing it to a few people I knew that were in the Lounge. Everybody’s looking like, what is this? like we back here, so not people standing around her like watching from all angles like, not one and she’s going to drop the cigar. Not shaking like you really have so, like it’s, it’s sitting there like not moving at all.
Angie – Stop
Johnny — I didn’t say such.
All — (laughing)
Johnny — I paused myself, I abbreviated it, and I mean from there, it’s been, we’ve had a lot of rides since then but that’s how we met the very first day.
StickMan #1 — That fact that you ended up opening a lounge together though. It’s amazing. Right? That’s…
Johnny — It was more… it was almost as amazing as her with that cigar.
StickMan #1 — I still have this…
Kelvin — Extraordinary.
Angie — Can we move on?
Johnny — It was like 140 gauge.
Angie – It was a 100 gauge.
StickMan #1 — Would you be okay if I posted that on my website?
Kelvin — Oh my God.
Angie – You, posted what on the website?
StickMan #1 — That’s cigar, cause that looks like…
Angie — there is, there is a picture out there somewhere.
Johnny — We’ll get it to you, please post it.
StickMan #1 — Okay, now let’s go back to the lounge now. How did you get to the lounge though?
Kelvin — Eventually after our relationship formed, because for whatever reason we were filling each other out for some months or so.
Johnny — We [inaudible]
Kelvin — Oh my gosh
StickMan #1 — I see.
Kelvin — We came up with this idea called up to smoke Atlanta.
StickMan #1 — Okay.
Kelvin — Okay. Up in smokey Atlanta was a festival here in town where we can celebrate the cigar lounges in Atlanta, and they include scenario vision where we can all be together. Um, we started rolling, I was sitting here one day having a smoke with Johnny and we started talking and we collaborate on it and it became a very good success. At that point, with the working relationship we had, Leaf Life came to me, and they gave me a option.
Johnny – You’re not going to say partner was ever spoke. That’s a pretty big partner to have, what’s that company called, Harley Davidson.
Kelvin — Yes. I’ve got to say that. I’ve got to say that.
StickMan #1 — That’s huge, Harley Davidson was a partner.
Kelvin — Yeah.
StickMan #1 — Okay.
Kelvin — That’s where it’s been for the last two years. That’s Harley Davidson.
StickMan #1 — That’s excellent, I mean, just a little quick preview, was it going to be with Harley Davidson again, in the future?
Kelvin — We may do some, we may do some little special edition.
StickMan #1 — Okay.
Kelvin — Maybe some little special.
StickMan #1 — Okay. Look out for that. Uh, up in smoke Atlanta?
Kelvin — There you go.
StickMan #1 – Look out for that, that’s going to be on a podcast in the future, we going to cover that in the podcast. So, we’re going to save that one, alrighty. I’m gonna move around a little bit. So as a team, you came together as a lounge, everyone has different roles.
Johnny — Yes.
StickMan #1 — So I’m going to start with you Calvin, get Calvin into this now. What’s your role here? Tell everybody, what’s your role here in the Leaf Life Lounge.
Calvin — So my role is the merchandise and brand of leaf life and the other brands under the leaf life umbrella. So we have, you know, smoking lashes, stick talk, talk cigars, cigar veteran, and um, those are four right or missing out, no. So I make sure I build those brands and their merchandise as well. Um, they didn’t, they didn’t say anything about how I got into this. So, um, you know, I was, I was doing stick talk…
StickMan #1 – You just showed up one day, (laughing)
Calvin — You know what…
StickMan #1 – Just playing.
Calvin — Once Kelvin and Johnny came together with up in smoke, he was putting a lot of time in up in smokes and stick talk, he couldn’t put enough time into it. And so I asked him, I said, do you mind if I have stick talk, cause I know you juggling with two, and he told me to go ahead. And so I had all these bright ideas of what I wanted to do and you know, a lot of folks were like, I don’t know if you should do that, and then I did it anyway and it just took off and Johnny and Angie saw something special in me that, you know, they didn’t come and talk to me or anything. I literally came to my brother’s house on some barbecue just wanting to eat and the opportunity was presented to me and I accepted it.
StickMan #1 – Wow, that’s awesome.
Calvin — So ever since then I only been rocking and…
StickMan #1 — You became part of the team.
Calvin — I’ve been part of the team.
StickMan #1 – Alright
Calvin – So, that’s my role with…
StickMan #1 — You got some cool gear, man.
Johnny — He’s also the model for all of our jobs.
StickMan #1 — I love it. I love it, he’s the cool gear. Someone got to be the model
Johnny – And if you want to get some Joggers, the size is under CJ, so we’ve CJ small, medium, large, extra large. So, if you want the fit like, you got to get the CJ size.
StickMan #1 — Okay. Yeah. All right, CJ size, everybody remember that. Johnny, what’s your role?
Johnny – Oh
StickMan #1 — You talked about being a creative behind it.
Johnny — I worked for them. I don’t know really have a real role. Yeah, I’m just scared brother, I wake up in the morning, I make sure I respond to Angie’s text messages and the reason…
StickMan #1 — I’m going to call a little bit of BS on that, because before you showed up, they were telling me that you kind of like the mastermind behind a lot of what we see.
Johnny — It was an idea that that started with me, but I don’t really care about that, because it wouldn’t have went anywhere without them. They still had the vision, still creative
Angie – You still take care of the creative side, the website, and the flyers, and the brands, and coming up with all the logos and steps…
Johnny — Yeah, if kales weren’t playing at the parties, nobody would come. So that’s why he…
StickMan #1 – He is so humble.
Johnny — That’s why it’s like…
Angie – He is not, just the sad part, he is not, this is strictly for the camera.
StickMan #1 – (Laughing)
Angie – This is strictly for the camea.
Johnny — Just the glue to keep it together. So, I kind of worked hand in hand with a little bit of all, all of the departments. But I mean I really trust the team we have here and I leave a lot on them. You know it’s a lot of times the CJ called me. I know he’d be like, you better answer his phone, and he thought that, at six o’clock I’m in the house, falling off from hitting the garage, because I know he can do it.
StickMan #1 – Okay
Johnny — You know when it comes to events, kales may throw something by me, but I know he talks to the people and he talks to me about it. It’s nothing we can say but okay.
StickMan #1 — That’s true
Johnny — Because he’s not going to agree to anything that’s going to be detrimental to the brand.
StickMan #1 — All right.
Johnny — If I want to buy something to order something, and he kind of give me that look, I know to let it go, cause obviously, the funds don’t add up to what I’m trying to spend. So I just, you know, when it comes to that stuff, I just fall back.
StickMan #1 — And I see that’s a great segue. So, Angie…
Calvin — Perfect
StickMan #1 – Angie, I hear through the grapevine that nothing happens without your stamp of approval around. You’ll tell us what you do then.
Angie — I’m just here.
All – (laughing)
Johnny — She runs it like the old days in Cuban
StickMan #1 — I’m not gonna let you off the hook that easy.
StickMan #1 — I hear when it comes to dollar signs…
Angie — I’m the CFO.
StickMan #1 — Okay. There you go. The CFO of the leaf life.
Angie – Of leaf life, Um, and I just tried to make the best decisions, um, monetarily, to keep us afloat and to keep us growing, um, building. So, I’m not very popular.
All – (laughing)
Calvin – Yes, you are.
StickMan #1 — I feel the love in this room.
Angie — It’s for the camera.
Johnny — There she said, a level of popularity [inaudible] things… don’t always like me.
Angie — They don’t like me a lot of the time, because I say no a lot.
StickMan #1 — Okay.
Angie — Um, but…
Johnny — Before the sentence finishes.
Angie – Yeah
StickMan #1 — But you know what, you have, me having a corporate America background, you have the most, uh, I guess critical role in this team and I’d be, I’m just going to go throw you to love you, which doesn’t happen without you.
Calvin — Which we, you know, 100% have all the respect and we feel confident that she’s going to make the right decisions to make sure that type of cigar I said we need or whatever on anything that we need, she’s going to make sure that, yes, we need it, no, we need it, or because we have wiggle room to do things or not and we trust her on that big time.
StickMan #1 — Wise business decisions are going to be made by this woman right here. All right. I love that.
Kelvin — I like hiding behind the DJ booth when it’s packed in here, working their tails off to make sure everybody serves and taken care of correctly, man. And uh, I just keep ’em moving. So that’s my role, that’s my role.
StickMan #1 — Okay, and I saw this man live and in person doing this thing on a grand open at night. You were having a ball, everybody was having a ball. You’re working the microphone, keeping the crowd entertain, man, it was a beautiful thing.
Calvin — Well, there is one thing that he also likes to do, while we’re working so hard
StickMan #1 — To take pictures of himself?
Calvin — Take pictures of self is one, but number two, he’s a very observing guy.
StickMan #1 — Okay.
Calvin — So we’re moving and it’s a lot of things that we may not see and so while he’s DJ, he can observe everything that’s going on to make sure that things are going how they should. So…
Johnny — Like he’s big on like, is that chair enough inches away from…
Angie – Yes, he ain’t wrong about that, he is definitely…
Johnny — At the same height of the Falcons head.
StickMan #1 — Oh wow.
Johnny — That’s where the TV should be pointed to…
Angie – See, right now, this is wrong, because it needs to…
Kelvin — Sneakily was…
Angiee – See…
StickMan #1 – Also, I’m gonna move my lighters, sorry, should I do it like this, which way?
Kelvin – Just get it a little closer.
Johnny — So, to give you idea of how our conversations go, when we all together to have a conversation. I have a bright idea. I say they’re all bright, they don’t mean they’re all affordable.
All – (laughing)
Johnny — Immediately Angie say, how do we make money or how much is that going to cost? Can I take care of it after the team?
StickMan #1 – Alright.
Johnny — Um, and then from there Kales is going to just be silent, for like next 30 minutes cause he’s figuring out how to break it down and make it move. CJ’s gonna yell out, well can we make it [inaudible 19:36]…
All – (laughing)
Calvin – Oh my God
Kelvin — …and then, barry is going to come in with like those sudden one liners, like well you know [inaudible] are the best thing next to lions. He’s going to try to figure out, how do we make it make sense to everybody.
StickMan #1 – Yeah.
Johnny — And then it’ll end up going…
StickMan #1 – It’s so bad he’s not here today.
Johnny — He’s not here today.
StickMan #1 – So, what does he do though?
Johnny — He’s the president.
StickMan #1 –He’s the president, okay.
Johnny — He’s definitely a critical thinker, he’s one of those people like have you ever met somebody that’s like super Southern, but like intellectual still.
StickMan #1 – Okay.
Johnny — So, you really have to listen to what he’s saying cause it may sound like collard greens and cornbread, but then if you listen to what he’s saying, he actually brought up some stuff that everybody maybe didn’t want to bring up at that moment.
StickMan #1 – For our Northern folks out there that may be watching us, all Southerners are not slow.
Johnny – Not at all
StickMan #1 – Just want to say that for the record.
Calvin – That’s how our conversations going…
Johnny – And then they’ll come back. Honestly, most of it come back to kales and Angie, cause he come down to how does it operate and how much do we make. And I kind of step away from there. I’m like the shadow basket, I definitely even this, I almost didn’t show up. So I was like, they filmed it and then they gone promote it and put it out on film.
Calvin – That’s how it happen to CEO.
Johnny — I don’t need that, I don’t have a position, stop there.
Angie – Yeah, you do.
Johnny — I’m a partner…
Calvin – You are the CEO
Johnny — I work with these people.
StickMan #1 – And you’re here today.
Johnny — I’m here today. So I caught that stuff’s not necessary. So yeah, that’s how conversations go. But it works. It works.
Angie – To be honest
Johnny – No, to be honest, like I got a hair out today, just for this.
All – (Laughing)
StickMan #1 – Yeah, you know, you got to fresh up. I get that.
Johnny — Just for today. I haven’t been to a barber shop in like eight months.
StickMan #1 – Okay.
Johnny — Because when I pulled up, Angie and Kales, they got like big cameras out there.
All – (laughing)
StickMan #1 – So, the lounge is open, you got the team together. Um, so why the leaf life lounge? My last count, man. We’re approaching uh, close to a hundred cigar bars in Metro Atlanta alone. The cigar bar or a cigar lounge, uh, phenomenon is really taking place at the ground level all over the country. Uh, and everyone kind of brings their own little twist to it, own little flavor to it. What do you think makes the leaf life lounge special?
Johnny — I want to answer that from two places. Why, I’m saying why from a company, why was important for their company to get a lounge. It was because we’ve worked with so many other lounges and I’m just being straight as always, it’s all bullshit.
StickMan #1 – Okay.
Johnny — You know what I’m saying, we want to do an event, they want to take all the money. We want to promote it, they want to block the promotion. We make a deal, they renege on the deal. We in front of, 1000% of us on the front end, they give 10% on the end, and it was like, we’re doing good business, we’re building good brands, we’ve got an amazing follower. Like when we show up and do an event, it’s known that it’s our event.
StickMan #1 – I’ve seen that, that’s right.
Johnny — You better have your capacity and stuff in order to have some friends in the County when we do an event. But it’s like we’re doing all this and we build in all these other castles up, and it’s no appreciation, no respect for us on our end. And it’s like we start getting frustrated with that. Like we’re working way too hard and you still treat us like we’re nothing out here. When we know we’re something, it’s like, Oh they can do that because the keys that they pocket open that door, we got to get out on doing on keys. So for us that was the most important thing we had to build our own stage, so we can do everything that we want to do on our own terms. And that’s not from an arrogant stand of point. It’s like we like to entertain, we like to have a good time, we like to smoke cigars. We also like to have the good business, and anybody that’s in business, you know, if it’s not your business, the only so much, you know influence you have over that situation.
StickMan #1 – That’s true
Johnny — From the business in, it had to be a lounge, it was no other option, we had maxed out the tee shirt game, we had maxed out the mobile, we’ll pull up or get this at the mall and drop off your package. That was done. Now as far as from the city, excuse me, I think we’re important because what we bring is, I think truly that inclusiveness, like at any point in time you can be here and you’ll see us plus two to three other owners from other lounges. Why did they come here? Because they know it’s a safe zone. They know when you walk in, like I say on the dope positive vibes only. We’re not hear the gossip, we’re not here for the negativity, we’re not here to put anybody down, when we show up like kales that everybody allows you to the whole city…
StickMan #1 – When I light this on, I want my problems to go away, and when you come to a cigar lounge, I want to relax. It’s about relaxation and good conversation and what I’m sipping off, ain’t going to leave that out, but it’s about good conversation and I love the fact that other cigar bar owners come here to relax as well. And Kelvin and I talked about that when we first met, about how it really should just this lifestyle, it should be love. It’s not necessarily about competition because everyone kind of has their own lane, their own pocket and the lounge. It’s about cooperation and collaboration in my opinion. And you know, I don’t, again, I’m going to [inaudible] with the up in smoke event, but that’s going to be a bigger part of what you do there, right?
Johnny — Yes, it’s going to be huge
StickMan #1 – Everyone coming together from different parts of the city and Metro Atlanta, for those who don’t know is quickly becoming or has become sort of ground zero for the cigar bar movement, if you will…
