Since we started the podcast, we’ve already reviewed four different brands of whiskey. Our taste buds are more refine. Our noses are sharper. But our taste has remained the same.
In our latest review, we’re checking out one of Reggie’s favorites – the Oban 14.
Unlike the other whiskeys we tried so far, the Oban falls on the fancy side. The distillery was build way back in 1794, by the brothers John and Hugh Stevenson out of – where else – Scotland.
The Oban Distillery actually has a famous visitor center. It has actually won awards.
We tried the 14-year-old, 86 proof, full body single malt. If you know anything about the StickMen brand, you know that we love good presentation. The Oban 14 bottle has a beautiful, classic look to it, so it’s a great addition to any home or public bar.
But how does it actually taste? Is it worth your time and hard-earned dollars or does it only look good? Listen to the latest StickMen Podcast episode to find out.
